If you like love stories, you will love Sylvies Love. Boy meets girl and conflict ensues. It is beautifully filmed with a 1960's backdrop. It doesn't hide from the racial tension of its time or the tensions between the upper and lower classes. It is wrapped in a soundtrack that was distracting because I was singing every song out loud. This feels like a story that has been told before, but in a time where we need feel-good stories, this story stepped up to the plate. I dare you to see this movie with your significant other and not become a giggling fool right after :)

Looks like a great movie. But the link did not work - I'll try to see it another time.

Sylvie's Love is a masterpiece and I fell in love with this movie because it movie provided great sensory pleasure and the on screen chemistry between Tessa Thompson & Nnamdi Asomugha was absolutely brilliant. \r\rThe soundtrack in this movie is so rich and it make me find a new appreciation for Jazz music. I want to thank Amazon for being brave enough to show a different perspective of the African American experience in America during the 1950' and 1960's. \r\rSylvie's Love is an instant classic.\r\r\r
