I enjoyed this film very much! The acting was excellent. It was very enlightening to see this story from the side of the politics and culture at that time in history. The length was perfect. There was nothing distracting about this movie such as bad acting. I loved the little bits of humor and real human reactions.Thank you for this opportunity to view the film.

In honesty, i came in not expecting to like the movie, however both my husband and myself felt it was a fantastic movie with a completely different perspective than the 'norm'. Believers and non-believers alike will appreciate a well acted and thoughtful script.

My husband and I really enjoyed the movie. It was more than what I had expected. Often times movies that are based on biblical history is always off track for entertainment purposes but I can honestly say that Risen was not one of those films. My husband and I are both ministers and we really appreciated the fact that this movie did not puff up things to make it more "entertaining". The true message of the movie was told and was not overshadowed by anything else and for that we are grateful.

I give it a 5 start... The actors were great.!Mary Magdalene .. The disciples all looked so authentic!This movie had an anointing on it! Hallelujah!This Jesus was authentic looking and humble !Jesus said in His Word " If I be lifted up from the earth I will draw all men unto me". This is what He did for the Roman soldier . The more you hear about Him the more you are drawn to Him. When people hear that you are Free no matter your circumstances.. They pursue the quest. Thank you!
