. It 's a very intense movie. Great actors.

I wasn't sure how this book would successfully make the jump to the big screen. With unbelievable acting by Jacob Tremblay beautifully complimented by the acting of Brie Larson, it is accomplished. It is the journey of a boy and his adoring and protective mother as they leave to confines and "security" of ROOM to the uncertainty, excitement, novelty and emotional turmoil of the world beyond.

It was moving, and the acting was subtle and superb. There were a few moments that didn't make sense - what was the heavy echoey footsteps that signalled the arrival of Nick when he was walking on hard ground; what happened with Joy's Dad? He just disappeared from the movie with no further mention. There are a few other unanswered questions but the movie was thoroughly enjoyable

In the beginning it was slow... but it was a good movie
