Very touching film with relatable characters and struggles. Although this movie centers around racism in the 1970’s it ultimately teaches about the human experience and how open-mindedness and empathy can change and unite even the most opposite of sides.

Enjoyed the portrayal of discrimination that took place, but it didn't draw me in as much as "The Green Book". Some parts of the movie seemed sluggish.

What a great story that should be told. I really enjoyed this movie. I wanted to dislike CP from the beginning but something said he was going to be a good guy. The change and relationship he develops with the woman hense even in the prolog show everyone can be redeemed. The side story of hos son gives him a very human side. I think this movie will touch a lot of people and may even become a good teaching tool since yes there is violence, but it is toned down to move the story but not glorify the Klan. Worth a watch.
