I've actually never seen the original but this one was pretty good. I was happily surprised to find out this was Eli Roth. Im not sure how well recieved this movie will be considering recent events.... But overall I liked the movie for what it was. The soundtrack was good and the gore was legit. I like the questions it made you ask yourself.

Bruce was good and the gun issue is topical but the movie was not one of the best Bruce has been in

It was pretty good, I remember watching the original as a young girl and thought it was terrifying at that time. The modern twist on this version was to be expected with social media, etc. The person who played the detective, not a very good choice, he was NOT convincing in his role.
