He had a tough childhood but still pushed through. I loved the relationship with Beth.

Great coming of age story and the how family from small town handle a child who is LGBT. For those who have families with such dynamics it hit home, for those who have been privilege to have a good experience and support it's good insight to the struggles. The acting was spectacular. Definitely needs to be on your Thanksgiving weekend watch list!

Definitely not what I expected but what a wonderful surprise! It was thoughtfully done and the characters were fleshed out so that it all pulled together at the end...wrapped with a nice, pretty bow. The whole movie is an amazing exposé about coming of age...at any age. Well done!
