Promising Young Woman is a powerful film that exposes the misogyny that is rampant in our society. Carey Mulligan was perfectly cast to play Cassandra, in all her mythical proportions. She is warning us that Promising Young Women are ready to stand up, speak up and act up. Kudos!!!

I thought it was a fantastic movie. It was thought provoking and suspenseful, and very sad. It talked about the oldest theme in the world, many men's inhumanity toward women. It's a shame that this world does not have more avenues to help this other than killing women who try to make things right.

It's hard to say I enjoyed Promising Young Woman, as it was rather difficult to watch, given the topic and my own experiences. However, it was a good movie, in that I felt it accurately expressed what so many women go through in our sexist, patriarchal society in which we are trained to turn a blind eye and make up excuses for terrible behavior, leaving victims to fend for themselves. In the end, Cassie & Nina got their justice - just as every victim wants and deserves - which is how I'd hoped the movie would end. I only wish they didn't have to lose their lives in order to do so.
