Superb acting and stellar casting could not save this movie from the drawn out, stream of consciousness plot line. The movie is about 40 minutes too long with unnecessary parts. Such a shame for a movie that could have become an art house classic.

Good film but is a little bit too long and dragged out. Often when perspectives change in movies (switching characters from young to old) can get confusing. It’s a movie you have to thoroughly pay attention to. Other than that, it was a good movie.

I had read the book and the movie pretty much followed along the same path. There was a lot of back and forth, past to present, and I think it could’ve easily been shown in chronological order. Good acting. Found the movie to be a bit long and slow.

The storyline was interesting but the length of the movie was too long.
