The film did not have a very strong storyline but because of the writing and the dialogue delivery by Judi Dench and Ali Fazal, I did not feel very bored. However, the film stretched a few scenes longer than it needed to. The cinematography was beautiful and the film was historically accurate. Judi Dench is an amazing actress especially at her age. Ali Fazal is also an extremely promising actor. He has always managed to surprise with his performances, whether it was the mature musician in Fukrey or the disgruntled student in 3 Idiots.

1st half was better, story line got a little unbelievable

Judi and Ali were wonderful...touching film.
