In The Heights was everything I wanted and more! It made me want to dance in the street and tugged on my heartstrings at the same time. Anthony Ramos was a star as Usnavi. Olga Merediz was phenomenal as Abuela Claudia. My family came to the United States from Armenia in the 1920s. The cultures are different but the story is the same. Expectations, pride, love, and even loss. ITH felt like HOME.

Hi, I am current latino college student studying to major in theater and business and this show means the world to me. I had the opportunity to play Usnavi back in high school and ended up being my favorite and most impactful production I’ve been a part of. To me In The Heights creates a space for the latinx/hispanic community to be seen, inspiring the community in its struggles and art.
