Violent & confusing Film! Began as A historical WWII film then morphed into a Horror Film in the Middle. Too Much Combat & little time spent explaining Combat Soldiers human interest story lines! David Pacheco

There were some great performances from the cast. But this is pretty lower level for a JJ Abrams production. The movie seemed to be building toward something bigger and instead the plot misfired on nearly every level. I was disappointed. C- grade.

It was a pretty bland and generic movie. The humor was decent but some lines elicit groans.

i don't think this movie was for me. well done, and a fresh take on a war movie to combine a real horror aspect, but i wasn't into it.i truly appreciated the opportunity to see the screening, was a great way to get me into a movie that i wouldn't normally attend.also, there were several children in there, i think screening should be limited to adults for R movies; this movie NOT for kids.
