this was a great story and wonderful action. I am not into so much CGI but the characters were wonderfully casted

What plot is there is confusing. effects are hit and miss. There are so many confusing pieces to this movie that it's hard to recommend this movie. *SPOILERS* So they are gods by virtue of these "crystalline organs" in the god's body. and one god wants them all. Poorly written movie. DVD Rental if at all.

Although the visual effects were appealing, the plot lacked any depth. It was a straight forward movie that has been done plenty of times before. None of the performances were out of the ordinary, and there was simply nothing memorable about the film. I wouldn't recommend this film, but I did appreciate the screening. The CGI was over the top; Gerard Butler's accent was hard to ignore; the inconsistent and poorly timed comedic interjections felt awkward; and overall it was a big budget movie with low budget results.
