Deeply disturbing and well acted, which seems like everything the film set out to be.

Very entertaining. Dark. Not your typical comic book movie. Great performance by Phoenix.

It was a brilliant meditation on the never ending cycle of despair and violence that defines this country. Joaquin Phoenix was amazing as usual, other actors/actresses’ performances were under utilized. Drags slightly in second act, but hits hard in the third. Not perfect 5 star but pretty close.
