Excellent movie! Awesome from the start to finish!

One of the best of 2015! The Martian was thrilling, funny, beautiful, suspenseful! I loved this movie and will see it again!

I appreciated that it followed the book so well without adding extraneous plot lines. I'm not sure Matt Damon was right for the lead which is why i only gave it 4 stars. My wife pointed out Chris Pratt would have made the sarcasm of Watney more believable. The special effects were top notch (I loved the Martian landscape in 3d!).
