This movie did a great job portraying police brutality as well as gang violence in predominately black communities. It was real and emotional. The movie also did a great job showing the emotions that a family and/or individual go through when struggling to come out and a be a witness for a crime. My husband and I truly enjoyed this movie. I can't wait until it comes out in theaters.

After reading The Hate you give bu Angie Thomas I just knew that I had to see this movie. I will admit that I didn’t not except for the movie to live up to the book; but I was pleasantly surprised. I love the entire project

It was absolutely an amazing movie! The actors were great -they really got us to feel their emotions. It also really speaks to today's current events around police brutality and racism in society. We definitely will recommend this movie to others!

Touching movie. Would highly recommend this movie to everyone.
