I would have liked this better without the horror element. The first scene in the airplane was great.

Solid work by the cast especially Pilou Asbæk who looked like he had fun with the various shades of Wafner. Jacob Anderson's sudden exit was awesome. The action was well choreographed; I appreciated the lack of shaky cam and that I could see what was going on. The ads put too much emphasis on the undead aspect which was undeniably a part of the plot but not as much as the commercials made it seem.

It couldn't decide if it wanted to be a war movie or a horror movie. It's clear that it attempted to be both, but both elements seemed distinctive from one another and it was like switching back and forth between different movies. I left somewhat disappointed.

It wasn’t as good as I had hoped. The previews on TV make it seem like a horror film not a war thriller. I disliked the historical inaccuracies such as a black man who was a high ranking official in WWII for the USA. That didn’t happen til Vietnam. I think the Nazis in France were depicted incorrectly as well. The story and plot were weak. Great violence and blood, and realism!
