I thought the film was beautifully shot, the acting was generally good and the costumes were gorgeous. However, there are a few instances in the film where I thought events were exaggerated to the point of ridiculousness - very over-dramatic and pulled me completely out of the movie.

Very slow moving

The plot and character development was a bit flimsy and a lot of plot points unexplained. Acting was good and intense, but overall didn't live up to the Oscar hype.
