I enjoyed the movie Ben Hur and it was good to see that there was a religious component to the movie. The action was great especially the chariot races and the acting by Morgan Freeman was memorable. I would recommend this movie for the whole family and there are many lessons that can be shared in today's family.

I thought the film told the story of Ben Hur clearly and vividly. Because of the limited duration it gave less background than the version I saw in 1959. The recovery, or even the survival, after some of the gory injuries strained my credulity but the story had to move along so was willing to stretch myh imagination somewhat.
