The sound is incredible and enhances the visuals. The film is non-stop action sequences with amazingly choreographed fight scenes. The editing was flawless and keeps the viewer on the edge of disbelief in the survival odds of John Wick.

It was very action packed. I lost track of his kills but enjoyed every minute of the intensity.

The fantastic fight scenes, and smart editing and cinematography are perfectly offset by the predictably bare-bones script and frequently shoddy acting to the point where I feel almost entirely ambivalent about the film. It is not ridiculous enough to be hilariously awesome cult-classic material, nor engaging enough to be appreciated for the narrative. Not a must-see, but a "must-enjoy-combat."

You really do not bond to the main character.
