I actually give it 4.5 out of 5. A tremendous performance by a great actor in Joaquin Phoenix. An interesting take on the iconic villain's origins. In spite of any controversies, definitely worth seeing.

Well acted and directed. A creepy and engaging look behind what made The Joker.

I liked it. Not nearly as violent as the rumors and not quite what I expected for a comic book based character.

It's going to start a lot of conversations. I don't know if I liked it per se, but I'd definitely encourage people to watch it.
