It was a very touching experience showing the bond that often takes place between a child and a parent that no matter how dysfunctional the experience growing up, that bond cannot be broken. It's also a moving experience of what child abuse when not dealt with or acknowledged can tat it's ugly head throughout that child's life and impact not just the child but his children as well.

Excellent movie sad story but it give you a family bummed and be strong.

The movie was nice. A tearjerker indeed. The movie was able to relay the complex set of emotions the main character had towards her father. On the one hand you could see he loved his children but yet he was still a very irresponsible father. Interesting movie. I'm glad I watched it.
