I loved it! The performances, costuming, script, sound effects-- all excellent! Great adaptation, but not enough play for the other astronauts. But the movie would be 4hrs instead of 2.5hrs so I get it. A few of the serious parts were spoiled by the music swelling/changing positively too soon. Those are my only negatives.

It’s great film overall. It’s little too long for the story but it’s a good one time watch and not something you can revisit to learn more.

To corny/Disney/happy ending. Not what I was expecting. Maybe good for younger/dumber folks?

I enjoyed *Project Hail Mary* (2026) and it is engaging. *Project Hail Mary* (2026) is somewhat of a lengthy film, but it had a good even pace, which suits its story. I wanted more of the story as to what was happening on Earth, as that is Ryland Grace's motivations, among other things. The making the endings of the story threads clear was not necessary. Possible spoilers, a question, as Tau Ceti is nearly twelve light-years form earth, why would it only take the Hail Mary only four years to return from Tau Ceti to Earth?
