Great, but not excellent. Fell a touch flat for me, but was overall enjoyable. I wanted more early life Joker and the story picked up in the middle with few childhood flashbacks. Joaquin Phoenix was excellent in his portrayal of the Joker.

Very interesting movie in how they gave the background story of the Joker. Joaquin Phoenix gives a wonderful performance with his acting which I believe should earn him an award.

Joaquin did a great job of acting. However the link to Batman films was awkward and did not tie cleanly to what we were used to for the Joker character. Overall a good two hours.
