After reading the book the movie left a lot out. That being said they still did a good job. People that havent read the book will enjoy the movie.

I liked it a lot. Despite all the dysfunction, these siblings really loved each other and even though the Dad battled his own demons, he really loved them in his own warped way. Nevertheless, the siblings managed to overcome their miserable upbringing. Their life gave them strength. Really, really good movie.

A great performance from Woody and Bri! Plus it's quite a moving story to begin with!

Well done-Naaomi Watts, woody Harrelson and young actress who played the part of author fabulous. Unfortunately, although she is terrific actress, did not think Brie Larson was right for this part. Overall a thoughtful rendition.
