I was so very impressed! Everything about this film is first-rate. Meryl Streep's performance was so touching: she took me from howling and cringing with laughter to tears! The recreation of NYC of 1944 was very very good. Hugh Grant marvellous as usual. And Simon Helberg is so much better than I thought from Big Bang Theory. I hope he wins some awards!

This was a very humorous film and Meryl and Hugh Grant were perfect and very believable. I guess what it was trying to convey was that it is more important to try doing that which you love evan if you aren't perfect at it. It is the love of trying that is important.

Meryl did the impossible. I was laughing hysterically and crying with heartfelt empathy at the same time!!!

Very well done movie that captivated the audience.
