An engaging film with an important story and message; well acted and subtitles enable everyone to enjoy it.

This movie hits home for many people who experience becoming deaf as an adult, myself included. Wonderful portrayal of the frustration many are unable to convey to family and loved ones who cannot relate. The road to acceptance of being deaf is very difficult. Amazon defines that journey superbly in Sound of Metal!

I really enjoyed the movie! Riz wore his emotions all over his face. I liked how you were able to experience the hearing loss and distortion from the character's point of view. t was a good story and well acted. I've already recommended it to others.

This was a beautiful film. The acting was stellar and the sound design was incredible.
