The movie goes against Jack London's formulation as the most salient writer of American naturalism. This exercise is worse than the distorsion that My Fair Lady made of Shaw's premise in Pigmalion. My advice to the movie makers of this Call of the Wild film is that, if they want to preach to the kids with specific ideological features in mind, then they should write their own script altogether.
