Very creepy! An excellent follow up to The Shining!

Probably one of the best Stephen King adaptations I've seen in a long time! As a fan of both The Shining and Doctor Sleep novels, as well as Kubrick's version of The Shining, I was impressed with how well the movie was able to stay true to both the book and the film. Kyliegh Curran and Ewan McGregor are fantastic and Rebecca Ferguson's Rose The Hat is sure to be the next iconic King villain

scary good fun. Ewan McGreger is excellent in his role. film ran just the right length 2 hrs. 27 mins. plot was hard to follow because i don'tremember story from first film. had a good time with this film.

A completely different movie from the Shining. As long as you don't go in expecting the same thing, you should leave happy. It's a strong piece of character work with a really awesome final act. Wasn't in love with the Abra character or the actor's performance but everyone else was great, particularly the gruesome scene with Jacob Tremblay.
