Reminds me of La Femme Nikita storyline. I enjoyed the IMAX 3D--it wasn't in-your-face, it just made you feel like you were in the action. Odd that they didn't cast an Asian actress in the lead.

It was actually a very fun movie! The visuals were amazing and had a great anime feel to it. If you are a fan of the original anime movie, you will enjoy this! The first half of the film delves into some really interesting themes and motifs -but the second half becomes quite predictable and a typical hollywood movie. Cast was great and all in all - very enjoyable! Highly recommend seeing it!

The movie had a great character driven story in the midst of the fantastical landscape it was set in. I was really surprised at the depth of the story. Scarlett Johansen did a terrific job as Major. It was entertaining and thought provoking.
