If you are a fan of Sparks or alternative/indie music, you are likely to find something to enjoy in The Sparks Brothers. Some reviews have argued the film is overlong, and while I would not argue with that, the length is integral to the film's message: being an artist is a lifelong pursuit. Sometimes that means what an artist does after their heydey is actually just as important as the more celebrated years of a career. The Sparks Bros have never given up - and judging from the end of the film - they never will. That should be an inspiration to us all - artists and humans alike.

It was a surprisingly engaging film about two quirky men (who happened to be brothers) who did things at their own tempo, regardless of the world around them. I am not a huge fan of documentaries, but I did enjoy it. The length was the only issue - needed a Bio-Break. But I would have paid to see this in theaters and enjoyed the experience.
