The movie was a fantastic mix of nostalgia and bittersweet solemnity. It is a tone poem for the have's and have not's of this world that have lost and found their lust tor life. Choose life and Danny Boyle's cinematic tour de force!!!

Ewan MacGregor was spectacular!

I went into this film with very high hopes and expectations, and it did not disappoint! Certainly it was somewhat nostalgic, but I don't mind, given that the original is on my top 10 films of all time list. Still, it felt fresh, with great music, and the original cast intact and on point. The audience at this screening was extremely appreciative, laughing and gasping in all the right places, and they literally cheered and applauded at the end. I'm going to see it again as soon as possible!
