Absolutely amazing film. On par with Saving Private Ryan

Great movie

Very intense War drama. Mel Gibson did a great job of telling the story of conscientious objector Desmond Doss, during WWII's Battle of Okinawa, and how he came to be the first C.O. to receive the Medal of Honor. It's an inspirational and Spiritual story of the conflicts of religious anti-war feelings and the duty to serve one's country. This film is above exceptional.

Oscar-Worthy performances all around.
