This movie was so funny and amazing and I can’t wait to watch it again

I loved it! A mix of horror/suspense and comedy. There was no slow intro to the movie, went right into it. Always love a good twist at the end as well. The casting was great, all characters vibed together. Would recommend for a good laugh and couple jump scares lol!

This movie kept me laughing.

The Blackening was a throw back to the Scary Movie era. Although no Wayans brothers were in this one, it had a similar comedic style. The opening was funny but the laughs died off somewhere mid film. At times I was convinced two different people wrote the first and second half of the film. Good potential but eventually fell flat with cheesy one liners and throwbacks.
