Shivers down my spine, in terms of how visceral and identifiable Boogie's growing up story was-- as an Asian American guy who also grew up between two cultures. This is one of the most realistic Asian male growing up stories that I've seen. Props for the representation, props for the great soundtrack, and props for a compelling storyline that was authentic and well-scripted. A tour de force, and one of the best movies I've seen in a while!

Great film with really relatable characters. The plot was a little cliché but I really liked the peek into the Asian American family narrative.

Very well made, excellent story line. I truly enjoyed the film and will recommend it to friends and family.
