Very good heart felt movie. You are drawn into the world deafness and how you would feel going from hearing to suddenly being deaf.

I mean, it was hard to watch. Heavy almost right out of the gate, but the acting was amazing, and pulled me in immediately. And the sound design was stellar too. The looks, and the silence in between the talking... it all was so very real and sorrowful. It felt like there were some jumps in time that brought me out of it a touch... because I was trying to keep up with the time change. But overall, little to complain about. Would recommend it to any of my friends that don't require Marvel popcorn flics. :)a

A profound message as to our need to search ourselves in quiet spaces, in order to get comfortable with acquired disabilities, and situations beyond our control.

An essential film that will stand out for years to come. Fuelled with deserved rage and sincerity by Riz Ahmed and Olivia Cooke, the film triumphs when making sense of the silence.
