Powerfully moving story....characters stripped to bare emotions. Julianne Moore isn't afraid to look really awful as she proceeds through Laurel's journey. Ellen Page tugs at your heart with her awkward but determined connection to Laurel and then her fierce protection of their time together. Makes this viewer appreciate the progress we've made in acceptance of those we may not understand.

I thought the movie "FREEHELD" was terrific.Ellen Page , exceptional.

This was a true love story! The acting was superb. They were so believable. It was a message that we should all definitely be treated equally!! Loved this movie!!!!!

Julianne Moore and Michael Shannon paired together is good casting. After shedding a few tears watching the film, appreciated photos of the real people at the end.
