It was amazing and we are so grateful for the experience. Would definitely see it again with the rest of family when it is officially out!

Engaging throughout! Intense scenes were balanced out with humor. I haven't read the book since high school and this encouraged me to read it again. I loved that it was empowering while also showing the harsh realities of what it could take to get there.

The Color Purple was an emotional experience, filled with nostalgia and reflection. There were moment of celebration and tears. I definitely recommends it, and have pre-ordered tickets for opening day for my entire family and a few friends.
