I really loved the cast and I thought they did an excellent job. However the movie lacked so much. One of the characters drinks a lot and only briefly was it mentioned his history with residential schooling. But the drinking was heavily focused on throughout the movie. I feel they missed an opportunity to expand on that and add more depth to his character. This was just one situation.

Seemed like an accurate presentation of the first nations people lives and the difficulty in living in the other culture. I found the difficulty they showed in relationships very interesting, and the violence difficult to understand. This was an eye-opening film.
