While it wasn’t a bad movie, the formula used to create this horror film has been used in recycled with its predecessors.

There were a few moments in the movie where you’d jump and got frightened. to be honest I felt like it dragged a little. I was expecting a lot more scary moments like the conjuring did for me but failed to meet my expectations. I do think people should go out and see it in theaters only because it is the continuation of the other Annabelle movies and who doesn’t wanna see it on the big screen!

Fits perfectly in the Conjuring Universe. A nice back story makes the teenage characters sympathetic. Like the Conjuring movies, the first third of the film is a slow burn as we build to the showdown with evil. But the last third is relentless tension that had our theater screaming and laughing nervously to find a semblance of safety. A well crafted scary movie!

Scary and I like how the story flowed from start to finish.
