I was very impressed with the all the different lifeforms. I do wish that we could have learned about some of them better. Was very disappointed in the acting thought it was child like.

It was visually appealing but the story seemed disconnected.

besson creates an eye-boggling visual spectacle and crafts it with the utmost passion in every shot. its weakness lies in the script, which relies too much on the clunky love story between valerian and laureline. rihanna's bubble makes for a wonderful supporting character. valerian is a movie that does its very best to entertain its audience, and for that it is commendable.

I loved the visuals of this movie. They were breathtaking. I was not impressed with the lead actors or the storyline.
