I'm not a game player nor a fan of current action films. But it was free. The house was packed with fans of the game or the movies with excited shouts during action scenes. They care not for poor stereotypical plotting, unconvincing character motivations & stilted acting. But the saving grace were the comedic acting turns of Karl Urban & Josh Lawson that were fun to watch. The CGI effects are good enough. So 2 stars Going by the audience reactions this movie could be profitable.

Pretty disappointing. Was hoping for better action scenes. Lots of cliches and eyeroll moments. Glad I got the chance to see it though!

Low budget, predictable and corny movie.

It feels like a "Greatest Hits" reel where character depth was left on the cutting room floor because the studio didn't think the audience would care. The decision-makers only adopted the aesthetic for marketing purposes while ignoring the actual lore. There is no balance between the necessary camp and the dark atmosphere that defines the original games. If only the decision-makers were brave enough to follow the blue-print of the first three original games this could have been their Dark Knight Trilogy.
