I thought it was great! The movie was a bit long, but that's Stephen King in general so it was expected. I thought it was really well done and loved the nostalgic moments that echoed scenes from The Shining especially in terms of the music.

I really liked the movie and Mike Flanagan is an amazing writer/director. The cinematography was superbe & the shots of Rebecca Ferguson flying were a masterpiece!But what I really didn't like was the actors/CGI that were supposed to be Jack Nicholson and Shelley Duval. The Shining is such a masterpiece, that you either use the original actors de-aged (aka The irishman) or you don't mention them.

A different energy than the original, but a welcome one.
