This was a most enjoyable movie. Some very good acting as well. The fellow who played the soldier was brilliant. The audience cheered when he was shot. He was not well liked at all. At the end of the movie, the audience clapped. I can not recall the last time I saw this other than at a children's movie. Well done indeed

Enjoyed the movie; not very much action for the madding crowds, though..casting was exceptional. Kinda knew where it would end up.

Well done period piece. Compelling story, great characters well acted. Moved along at a steady pace. Enjoyable movie even not my usual style.

Acting was very good although plot was rather predictable.
