Combine Robocop, Matrix, and Avatar and you have a good idea of this movie, which is to say it reprises some pretty good films.Visually interesting enough that you don't get bored when it drags, which is usually when looking at close-ups of Scarlett J's face, though her sex appeal has been deleted.Love the Mr. Miyagi/Flattop character!Just suspend belief in this movie as for Dr. Strange.

Despite the beautiful eye-popping world it creates, the sci-fi film Ghost in the Shell is a defective mess with lifeless characters, missed chances for thematic exploration and a minefield of political incorrectness.

Marvelous visuals, high energy action film that stays true to the original plot. However, it is sadly, mostly surface level storytelling and lacks the depth of heart found in the original GitS. Nevertheless, it was very much enjoyable eye candy.

Great movie, lovely message. Some of it felt a little shallow at times (flashy fight scenes that are flashy for the sake of being flashy and not supporting an overall theme) as well as a shallow plot that didnt have me as attached to the lead as much as I wanted to be. But overall I enjoyed the movie and thought it was better than expected.
