Providing three stars simply because the film was visually entertaining otherwise I would have rated with only 2.

Absolutely stunning visuals and expansive, impressive worlds. My favorite elements were the creative designs and unique technology (like the trans-dimensional chase scene and the ship that broke into smaller ships). The alien designs were also very captivating and charming. Characters and plot were the weakest elements. The two main characters were bland and their dialogue often was cringey and I didn't care for their romance. Likewise the plot itself was really predictable and cliche. However I liked the visuals and setting so much I was willing to overlook the characters and pot

Despite its length, it kept my interest. The computer-generated effects were very impressive and the initial sequences were entertaining, though certainly not at the level of "Up" or "Wall E." The love story seemed to be an afterthought and the related dialogue was at the high-school-play level. The main couple are appealing actors but Mr. Beeson doesn't give them much to work with. Mr. Beeson needs to take another look at "The Fifth Element" and even "Lucy." Those movies are the reason people enjoy his work.

Visual effects were amazing! storyline was okay. Carla Delevgne seemed to be just going through the motions.
