I love Timur Bekmambetov, especially back when he made Nightwatch/Daywatch. Profile is not good though. I fear the movie begins with a good premise and ends where it indelibly should, but the middle seems to rely on a romance between the two that isn't possible given journalistic rationalization and the fact that Amy is unlike that of the young girl she's imitating.

Being that this was film based on a true event, I believe that the "journalist" in this story was unprofessional and not suited for the job. \r\rI thought this film would act as a warning for young women/people to be aware of deceptive Islamic jihadist recruiters but it turned out to be a film about a seemingly foolish novice "journalist" mishap in trying to get a story.\r\rWith that said, I liked the actors/acting and the online format was interesting but it could have used a little more live action footage instead of being all online.
