Overall, it reflected well on how a hearing person deal with hearing loss in his own way. It contained conflicts and twists which created drama in the story. The ending wasn't what I expected but again it was clear on the direction he was going.\rI am deaf and a guitarist in a deaf rock band so I get that from people. Some days I prefer silence which as why I appreciated how the story ended so thank you for allowing me to inject my thoughts here.\rRock on!\rSteve

This movie was a stunning and moving depiction of a person faced with the loss of what he holds most dear. The acting was excellent and the art direction was extraordinary.

I appreciated the opportunity to see and experience the world through the lens of someone who suddenly loses everything and must learn to find peace without. This is a perspective that not many stories are told about- which is why it was so resonant.

Great storytelling about sudden deafness, the deaf community, the questionable results of cochlear implants, the defining role sound (or the lack of sound) plays in our lives and the psychological toll it takes on us. It is well paced interesting movie with a lot of feeling and is very memorable.
