Some funny moments, although pacing and writing drag a bit.

Was good for a tv network movie but not of a major theater release caliber. It’s too bad that Mindy Kaling could not have written more in her style than the jokes her character Molly wrote. And Emma Thompson is always good, but in this movie she seemed guilty of the same apathy as her character was accused of.

I enjoyed it - but now think a bit too many cliches, including Mindy Kaling brief romance with co-worker, and big mouth.

The 3 weeks to sex thing was a bit odd. The very quick pick up at the party that a possible affair was too subtle for the scandal accusation. When she’s fired and has her box of stuff it was odd to see her in the writers room, then in her office, and then back in the writers room. The speech at the end apologizing for what happened was half baked. The stairs to the apartment had a song and seemed super awkward. Maybe it was our screen, but the framing at the top seemed to cut off at people’s foreheads a ton?
