Utterly ridiculous and silly but fairly entertaining

Extremely entertaining for what the filmmakers were going for. However for as hype heavy as it is I would've liked a bit more substance to accommodate that energy. Any theme present was only used as a framing device to get the action going instead of a main idea the film should try to sell, which I think delving into those main ideas is essential for a tokusatsu-esque Kaiju flick.

It’s dumb fun. Not great, but worth a watch.
