I liked it a lot. McConaughey is great as usual & newcomer Richie Merritt has a bright future. Really enjoyed his performance & also loved that Danny Brown cameo.

It was a good movie. The ending could have been better.

Enjoyed it greatly. The strained dynamic between father, son and daughter along with grandparents and father was funny, amid 80's Detroit and crime at every turn. Even with such grim prospects, the father never relinquished hope for him and his family. Would love to watch White Boy Rick again. Thank you Sony.

I thought it had great flow throughout the film. No lulls or times you wish it'd hurry up. Quite intense and leaves you speechless at the end. My favorite part is when Matthew McConaughey says, "I'm just a glass half full kinda guy." The little girl is such a great comic relief in a serious and dramatic film.
